Aelia Yachting is a new founded, Greek, family owned, yachting company offering exceptional end to end services to its customers. Our course of action came in response to the growing demand for a company with a simplified approach and strong personal relationships.

Our mission is to charter catamaran yachts to anyone interested in experiencing tailor-made holidays on yacht cruising around the Greek islands, always dedicated to excellence.

About Our Yachts

Luxury

Book with us your excursion on an elegant catamaran with an impressive design, ideal for your events. The catamaran’s deck is divided into two levels; the upper deck has a comfortable area that is perfect for sunbathing, where you will find elegant and comfortable cushions to enjoy the trip. The lower floor is in the shade, and here you will find our bar and a living and dining area. We have a menu with appetizing choices, as well as different BBQ options, with freshly prepared meat and fish. To increase your enjoyment on board, we can arrange any other activities. With our experience in sailboats rents, we have established standards of quality and service, ensuring that the client will have a closed budget with everything included and some amenities according to their needs.

Technology

Brand new 2020 Lagoons. Our new Lagoons will be launched by Lagoon’s Bordeaux warf in October 2019. We will have her fully fitted out during the winter months, after which she will be available for charter starting spring 2020! Will you be the lucky one to charter this brand new vessel?

Our Crew Members

CEO

The Chairman of Aelia Yachting, Damianos Makris, was born in a seaside town of Peloponnese called Neapoli in 1958. He comes from a maritime family, while he has 40 years of experience on his back in a big shipping company. He started off as a captain on cruise ships and tanker vessels and later on he became a Designated Person Ashore (DPA), working as a ‘keystone’ to provide the structure and support for an efficient and effective Safety Management System onboard a vessel. Thus, his years of experience shaped his passion and expertise concerning the maritime life in general. In addition to this his passion for sailing and its potential urged him to combine his inner desire with his area of specialization into establishing Aelia Yachting.

Managing Director

Mr Thanos Makris is the Commercial operator of the company. He has a degree from DEREE – The American College of Greece in Shipping Management. He speaks fluently English.He has work experience at operation department of a big Greek shipping company and has also developed skills in ship maintenance. He is able to excel in high-pressure situations. Oversaw tenant relations and management of multiple properties.

Sales and Commercial Manager

Mrs Kallina Makri is the Manager of the company. She has a degree from University of Patras in Material of Science and validated certificate of ADR and ΙΜΟ diploma. With work experience at COSCO company as an operator and in commercial department. She speaks Fluently English.She has excellent organizational and leadership skills. She has also develop excellent communication and negotiation skills. Steadfast leader, and optimizing internal operations.

Supply Chain Manager

Mrs Ioanna Karavousanou is the Supply Manager of the company. She is extremely well organized and enjoys working in a fast moving and busy environment. She has the responsibility of controlling costs, ensuring the company is supplied with goods and services effectively and efficiently and contributes to strategic business decisions. She speaks Fluently English.
